Mysterybox – Trade-in & Collectibles Platform, a complete self-hosted store for selling surprise gift boxes and collectibles. Built on Laravel 13 with a modular architecture, it ships as a ready-to-run application with a dark, conversion-focused storefront, a full customer dashboard and an admin panel — plus a server-side draw engine, a value guarantee on every box, a customer vault with shipping, gifting and trade-ins, store credit, auctions, limited drops and XP levels with rewards.
Whether you are launching a mystery box shop for tech, sneakers, collectible cards or curated gifts, everything is configured from the admin panel — no code edits required.
Core Features
Everything needed to run a mystery box store, in one responsive interface:
- Mystery Boxes: Themed boxes with categories, series, badges, ratings and level gates. Every box page lists the items it can contain and their retail values.
- Server-Side Draw Engine: The item is selected on the server from the box’s item weights and written to an immutable internal record. The browser only plays the box-opening animation — outcomes can never be decided or altered in the browser.
- Value Guarantee: Every item in a box must be worth at least the box price and cost less than it. The item-weights editor enforces this, versions every change and shows live average value, cost and margin.
- Customer Vault: Opened items land in the customer’s collection, where they can keep them, ship them to any address (including a friend’s, as a gift), or trade them in for store credit.
- Shipping Rates: A flat rate per shipment, a free-shipping threshold, per-country overrides and a list of countries you don’t ship to, with a full fulfilment queue from requested to delivered.
- Auctions: One disclosed item per auction with free bidding, reserve and buy-now prices, anti-sniping, live countdowns, payment windows, second-chance offers and missed-payment strikes — all handled automatically by the scheduler.
- Limited Drops: Time-limited releases with stock and per-customer limits.
- XP, Levels & Rewards: 30 levels, daily streaks, a welcome gift and rewards. Higher levels earn better trade-in rates and unlock exclusive boxes.
- Store Credit Wallet: A complete credit ledger for top-ups, trade-ins, rewards and refunds, usable for boxes, shipping and auction wins.
- Payment Gateways: Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Paystack, Flutterwave, Mollie, Mercado Pago, Xendit, Izipay and SSLCommerz, plus BitPay, Coinbase Commerce and NOWPayments for crypto — and manual payment methods.
- Storefront CMS: Pages built from 17 reorderable section types, drag-and-drop menus, a blog with SEO fields and sitemap, and ready-made pages for home, how it works, FAQ, about, contact, terms and privacy.
- Notification Templates: Edit every email, in-app, web push and SMS (Twilio / Vonage) message from the admin panel.
