GuestLens | Event Photo and Video Sharing SaaS Platform

Description

GuestLens | Event Photo and Video Sharing SaaS Platform

GuestLens | Event Photo and Video Sharing SaaS Platform is a self-hosted PHP script for collecting guest photos and videos at events. A host creates an event and gets a QR code. Guests scan it and upload photos and videos from their phone browser. There is no app to install and no account to create. The host gets a live gallery, a big-screen slideshow, a guestbook with voice notes, and one ZIP file with everything.

For guests: scan, upload, done

  • No app, no sign-up. The event opens in any phone browser. Guests can add their name if they want to.
  • Many files at once. Guests pick photos and videos together, and each file shows its own progress.
  • Smaller files first. The phone shrinks each photo before sending it. A 6.4 MB photo goes up as about 2.1 MB. A host can turn on full quality for an event.
  • Uploads that survive bad Wi-Fi. Files go up in small pieces. If the connection drops, the upload pauses and continues where it stopped. Nothing starts over.
  • Short videos. MP4, MOV, and WebM, up to 60 seconds and 100 MB by default. Each plan and each event can set its own limits.
  • Guestbook with voice notes. Guests write a message or record up to 60 seconds of audio, and hear it before they send it.
  • Live gallery. New photos appear as they arrive. Guests can like and comment.
  • Privacy. Location data (GPS) is removed from photos by default.
  • Fast on slow connections. The guest page is small and loads quickly on a weak mobile signal.
