Maple Lake: Merge Resort | HTML5 Game

Description

Maple Lake: Merge Resort | HTML5 Game

Maple Lake: Merge Resort | HTML5 Game, a complete and cozy merge game built with plain JavaScript. Theo inherits his Grandma Hazel’s old camp. Tap BUILD for a new building, drag two equal ones together and watch them become the next one: planks turn into cabins, cabins into chalets, chalets into hotels and, at the very top, into three-by-three cell palaces that tower over the lake. From level five on every building pays rent into your cash, so the more you merge the faster the resort grows.

Seven chapters of contracts from Poppy the ranger, Captain Marlo, Mr. Oakes, Penny the influencer and Grandma Hazel herself give the game a story with a beginning, a middle and an end. Expand the plot from a tiny 3×3 patch to a 12×12 resort, plant oaks, fountains and lanterns on the meadow for extra income and spin the lucky wheel every ten minutes.

Game Features:

  • Isometric Plot, a diamond of land on a lake meadow; every building, tree and fountain is its own hand-painted sprite on one shared camera
  • 23 Buildings, from Wood Plank to Maple Crown Palace; level 10 and up cover 2×2 cells, level 18 and up cover 3×3
  • Merge by Drag, equal buildings glow when you pick one up; drop on a match to merge, on a different one to swap, on the bin to throw away
  • Three Buttons, BUILD makes a building, UPGRADE raises the level BUILD makes, EXPAND grows the land (18 steps)
  • Passive Income, every building from level 5 pays cash every five seconds, with floating numbers over the best ones
  • Seven Chapters, 24 Contracts, hand in “own n buildings of level t” cards for cash and free land; the buildings stay on your plot
  • Park and Garden, eight decorations (oak, pine, cherry tree, flower bed, fountain, lantern, well, flag) around the plot, each adds a share of your income
  • Lucky Wheel, a free spin every ten minutes: cash, building pieces, a free building, double income, free land
  • Story with a Beginning and an End, an illustrated intro, visual-novel chats with a cast of six, a finale and an ending
  • Long and Fair, no energy, no timers to wait out and nothing to buy with real money; a test bot that plays perfectly needs about three hours for the whole story, a person takes longer
  • Polished Look and Feel, glossy hand-painted interface, template particle effects, recorded sound effects and a looped music track
  • Portrait, Tablet and Desktop, mouse wheel or button zoom, every panel lives in a 3:4 column
  • No Build Step, native ES modules, no bundler and nothing to install
